Ça va venir..

At least we understand each other.

I have lost count of the amount of times my colleagues have said this to me, “ça va venir Yasmin.” I really hope it does come eventually because I’m getting pretty frustrated about speaking baby French if I can even call it that. In order for this to work (learning a new language) you need to first and foremost be consistent.  So I am very much to blame if I am not seeing results as quickly as I would like as I supposedly know what I am doing wrong.  Either that or I’m just impatient…or maybe a bit of both? That sounds more like me.  The older I have become and the more experiences I have had I realise this awful trait I seem to have is only going to hinder me in everything I do.  I’m no psychologist and I guess it is common sense but patience is key for succeeding in most tasks. So how do I go about this? I’ve decided I’m not going to be so hard on myself as long as I am being consistent with learning new content and expect it will take some time. As for now I guess I will have to trust the saying 'ça va venir.'

I think I just answered my own question.
